I managed 556KMs out of my AE101 GT-Z this week - mainly highway cruising, but with a bit of "playtime" here and there  I'm really very impressed with this car 8) :D

I think it's probably your O2 sensor thats the problem too - same thing happens on the GT-Four when it goes. Good news is that these days you can get cheaper pattern parts that work just as well but don't cost so much, so hopefully shouldn't be too much of a problem to fix :D Just to be sure though I'd definitely check all the hoses etc just to be on the safe side

did u just recently buy this?

my mate just sold one , it's white , s/c, auto, has teh plate SC MR2.
That thing had such bad fuel comsumption, he put like $10 in and got like 20km hahaa but he used to floor it all the time.

Hey I have seen that car round tons lately, I was eyeing it on thursday night and drove past it parked up about 6 times!
Driven to empty, mine takes 37 litres to fill, and get about 230-260kms a tank in my manual MR2, with a lot of cold driving - taupo is too small  Shit that's bad?! I had better check the sensors as well!
