yeah u most likely can, but the cost of doing it would vastly out weigh the cost of the vehicle, and would most likely have to be certified for safety reasons.

when ur driving at speed u dont really notice that ur driving a car with out power steering really (never used to notice it with my Kp62 starlet, it was sweet as when in motion).

Put a smaller racing wheel on and see if that makes a difference, wont feel like ur trying to turn a tractor, if all else fails, grow some muscles and put up with it :) (turning a big car with no p/s is a good way to get a workout hehe).

smaller steering wheel will make it harder to turn the wheel. and if you looking to go powersteering i suggest you have a look around for an ae85 or ae86 that already has it and swap with owner if they dont want it .. or a few wreckers may have the crossmember and pumps

hrmmm my bad then, i wouldve thought that by having a smaller wheel, u would spend less time grabbing at the wheel turning it, but hey what do i know, im just a simple boy with simple values *skank walks past*...How YOU doin?

Bah. Power steering... Who needs it!
I've got no P/S in my SW20 and have a Mellinium Momo wheel (DAMN that wheel is sexy) and even at low speeds it's fine :P
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

As long as you can get the rack, pump, mounts, and pipes it is easy enough to do.
Some AE86's did come with p/steer.
