Find your wastegate actuator hose, cut it in half and put the boost controller in the line. It bleeds a certain amount of air off so your wastegate opens at what it thinks is normal pressure when your turbo is in fact making more boost than that.

Just be careful with your fueling tho.. Dont want it running lean

Unsure if those cars have a boost cut in them?

lol

Alright, here we go. This is a turbo. Left side is where the exhaust stuff goes, the right is the intake (compressor side). The big long rod bit with the thing on the end on the right is your wastegate actuator. If has a vacuum hole that goes tot he compressor side if the turbo. When you make a certain amount of boost this causes that rod to move and allow some of the exhaust gases to bypass the turbo so it doesn't keep speeding up basically. This limits how much boost you make.,

A boost controller (like those down the bottom) simply goes on the hose from the compressor side of the turbo to the wastegate actuator. It lets a certain amount of the boost pressure that would normally go to the actuator just bleed away. So when you're making 12 psi at the compressor side of the turbo and the wastegate would normally open, you are now allowing a certain amount of pressure to leak away and the actualtor only gets a partion of that pressure. So to make the wastegate open you need to put a lot more air in there. So when you're making say 15 psi at the compressor side the wastegate now sees the 12 and start to open.

Numbers are all just for show, but you get the point. To install the boost controller you just need to find this hose (should be the only one to the actuator I think, and if not then just see where it goes), cut that hose and put the controller in (hose just pushes on each end, or hoseclip it on).

I hope that sort of explains it. Someone correct me if thats wrong, thats how I've come to understand things.
