Ok dude you wont be making anywhere near the power matt is so dont fret, you wont break your button clutch. You may however warp it if its not run in correctly 8)

o/k, the other way to tell how good the pressure plate is is by how much you paid for it. Say if it was over $300 just for the presure plate it's a heavy duty.

Just dont excessively ride it. I've done near on 1300kms now and the clutch just grabs now its bloody great :D

You can give it stick while wearing it in just dont launch or slap gears super fast.

Basically you just cant ride them at all.
Cant ride the clutch on a hill to stop it from rolling back like you can in a std car, and just gotta be cautious when creeping through traffic like stuck in the KFC drive through etc.

I've got this problem at the moment where my clutch lets out a little squeek/squeel when I reverse. I get the idea from this thread that you shouldn't slip the clutch in reverse which may have something to do with it but it doesn't seem to take much to make it squeel. It will also do it in 1st if I slip it

Is this just the buttons resonating or something a little more sinister???

Has anyone else had this problem?

Green machine how old is your clutch I have heard of them squealing when they get down to the rivets although I wore mine down to the rivets without any noises

I've had the clutch in for about 10,000km. No one told me how to use it when I first got it so I guess I just slipped it so that I could drive it around the street without stalling or launching.

I think it may be the buttons as well but I've spoken to a few clutch manufacturers and they don't seem to think that.
