ae101 levin 92 gtapex 'limited'?

I own an ae101 levin 92 gtapex... limited... what does this mean... every other levin i see dosent have "limited" after the gtapex, is it better or worse? thx

has done 117000k...
great bargin, price and k's outran the fact that its auto .. wanna get it converted eventually... if anyone knows howmuch this is gunna cost and how to go about doing it.. letme know... thx

I'm probably wrong in this but the only ae101's with limited in the name are the ones that are auto, ie all the sj limiteds are auto same as the fz's so i would suspect it's the same for the gt apex's! Won't be any worse just means that it's auto!
Right to do the conversion your going to want all the bits of the manual box, cables, fluid lines, pedal box clutch cylinder slave cylinder, actuall shifter so you can change gears amd the plastics and mounts for that as well! Once you've got all those sussed you go and buy yourself a nice new pressure plate, clutch plate, and flywheel then off you go and put it all in porvided you know how to do it all yourself that is

Thanks for replying Loudtoy - do u reakon its worth converting or just selling mine and going and getting a manual 1? i bought mine for $3800 and since have put a new pioneer headunit and 6x9's in, also brand new tyres all round.. i think i got a pretty good bargain, but because its auto... it might not be. do u have a rough idea how much it could be sold for... its got a reasonable paintjob for 117000kms (a few little chips and scratches), and has good condition interior.

also.. about the 'limited' thing.. i have seen several ae101 92 levins that are auto which also dont have 'limited' after the 'gtapex'... so i have no idea what it could mean.. lol

"Limited" in Toyota parlance usually means "all options", depending on what options were available for the model of car, of course.

Things like:
ABS
TEMS
Cruise Control
Eletric fold-in mirrors
Grade of Sound system
Sun roof
etc
