Where to get parts for DIY coil overs.

I wanna make some AE86 coil overs.. where can i get the threaded sleeve from and the screw fittings? Ive seen skin-fittings for boats which slightly resemble what you could use but are there any engineering shops that will just sell the sleve in lenghts or whatever?

ya cant just go to a supplier and buy the threaded tube. the best bet (frm what ive found) is to go to a mechine shop with a bit of heavy steam pipe with the correct internal diameter, and get them to chuck it in the lathe and mechine a thread on it.
ya could go to a plumbers and thry to buy some threaded stuff, but the thread needs to be real fine. UNF does the trick. and most plumbers use a coarse thread.
