Doing this all the time fouls your plugs. Leaves a red gunk i wouldnt reccomend it at all.

Just use 98, gives you better power and increases economy.


well that would probably depend on the brand and the ingrediants, also cant get 98 octane here :(

We run avgas in our race cars and use o2 sensors for tuning only cause after only 4 hours of running avgas the sensor becomes inaccurate and soon fails completely.

my car says to use japracer 100 ron :D on the sticker on the fuel filler flap
but run it on the highest octane you can get, min 96, mine pings like a bitch on 91

honestly what the hell is it with this board?????

and yes i forgot i noticed that gull 97 seems to be the cheapest fuel to run cos it is the same price as 96 but anything that isnt refined at marsden point is good,

and with regards to avgas....

if you do use it, it is only neccesary to make up a 50/50 mix of 97/98 with avgas
