good luck beating that.. most ppl would die to have ct9 go to T25..

i dont think you can get bigger without spending some serious cash on everything huh..

t28 should use the same manifold you have currently

maybe some changing of oil/water lines tho

gearbox should be fine, toyota boxes arent usually prone to breaking unless you use a 20v box in a turbo car

I've never heard of a B.B T25. T25G is probably what you mean (found on early model SR20DET's, they have a bigger compressor wheel over the T25).

If you really want to upgrade the turbo T28 would be good. Same manifold, but a little bit of work involved:

New cooling lines are needed (2 water, 1 oil). Braided lines are a good investment if doing turbo swap, wouldn't rely on stock lines (esp oil).

The compressor intake flange is 90 degrees opposite to a T25, therefore will need to get a new flange made up. Or cut the intake pipe, rotate it, mark where it should go, then get it welded up.

There is a guy in Palmy who has a T28 on his Starlet. It was pretty darn laggy apparently.

Side note - if you' definately want a B.B T28 you can find them on S14 (facelifts) and S15s. GTiR's have the non-B.B turbo's and are much less of a headache come turbo recon time.

That's cause you can't o/haul the ball bearing centre, unless they've just developed a way recently. We had a Garrett turbo on a R50 Pathfinder let go in the bearing. Nissan said "bin it, because there is no way of fixing or replacing the bearing".

you could always try a t25 exhaust housing with t28 compressor side

sounds like you are doing pretty well tho!

make sure its a wet kit rather than the dry kit, ZEX seems to be on the money for nitrous using both and activation switch and a WOT switch rather than a clumsy push button for on or off.

i been looking into laughing gas myself lately 8)
