extras
evo2 engine
standard tdo5h turbo
huge front mount
gizzmo
5 zigen muffler
running 12psi

than later adding
38 mm wastgate
T3/04 turbo
3" mandrel zaust from turbo
running 12psi

very hard to say. Someone on nzmmc might be able to hazard an accurate guess. but maybe around 350hp at the engine?

So hard to say as all depends on tuning etc.

Also wonder why somone would only run 12psi on the to4 when could easily run 18psi on the std turbo or t04 etc

hes planning on running a fair amount more, im just trying to campare the standard mods now to the mods hes going to fit later.

im not positive but i thought the evo zero engine crank/rods/pistions were stronger or as strong as that of the evo items?

The E0 engine is identical to a standard VR4 engine, with the sole exception that it's camshafts are identical that what's in the E3.

Strength wise the 6bolt VR4 motor leaves a 7 bolt Evo motor for dead...

Which is why VR4 rods are so sought after...

isnt the fact its an E0 irrelevant - it says E2 motor..
prob not much more than stock.. i dunno what they run factory but it must be close to 12psi already.

maybe 300-320hp@fly

and if after those mods its still running only 12psi, wont it just make the same power as before.. except maybe spool up faster and get that power quicker or something.

errr no because psi is just a measure of pressure....not of actual air moved through the turbo and into the engine 8)

With a larger turbo the efficiency is better, hence the cooler the intake charge and hence the more oxygen dense the air is. BTW, will that T3/04 be in its efficiency range at 12psi? I would have thought you would want to run at least 1bar to get it up near peak efficiency.
