great way to stop burning oil in a4age, oil catch tank. That will stopit burning oil, especially at high rpm

But i am contemplating a gze crank and conrods for more strength, any objections??

yes!! just to clarify in case theres any confusion....

REDTOP SMALL PORT CRANK AND RODS ARE THE SAME AS 4AGZE.

4AGE CRANK AND RODS ARE THE SAME AS COROSPONDING YEAR 4AGZE. (this includes the 20v)

the main difference is aw11 and early ae92 4agzes which have the low comp pistons and different rods from the later 4age/zes

so to answer your original question, yes 4agze forged pistons will go in you 4age no problem. BUT they are suitable for forced induction only.
if you have a blue top or early awll engine then you need to change the rods and crank to fit the 4agze pistons.

im happy 2 save my cash and stick with factory redop internals. Mines a small port and just wanted to see if 4a-gze crank and rods would improve big- end strenth, didnt know they were exactly the same!

yup they are, best thing you can do to improve strength is use ARP rod bolts, as the factory ones are the weakest link in the bottom end, but it depends on what you are using it for, ARP ones would suit something that is being revved hard constantly. i can do them for about $110 a set
then theres TRD bearings if your rebulding it
