Superstrut - which fix?

Postby eddiewould » Sun Jul 18, 2004 9:48 pm

Okay as I said b4 in a thread in the general section, my car (ST202 SSII Celica....94) has dodgy front suspension I believe one side of the car has had a strut insert but the otherside hasn't.

I want to upgrade/replace the front shocks (superstrut) and main things I'm trying to achieve are:

More comfortable/predictable drive, better handling (less tyre hop), keeping in mind that my car has fairly heavy 17's on it.

From the four options, please vote and give a reason why!

Cheers :D

Give that the TRD ones are the same price as the stock ones, I'd go for the TRD ones. But you should also get the springs that go with them too!

I haven't looked into it... but the inserts would have to be hacked (the super strut system is supposed to be a sealed unit) so it would involve some hacking-labour as well... I could see it being at least $250
