Gutted, abused and in need of st185 pics.

Postby Chickenman » Tue Aug 10, 2004 11:29 pm

Well, after all this time I get called to say I can tow the car home cos they've finished......

I get there and they...
1. Didn't follow my instructions as per the tensioner for the alternator belt (I got no a/c so have to change the pulley thingy)
2. No fukn oil in the engine... told them so many times.
3. The bonnet wasn't on, they assumed it wouldn't fit... took me 2 minutes to bolt it up and it fit FINE

I am so pissed off with them, I had already had enough of getting $&#$% around but now I'm just fukn gutted.

Anyway, can anyone help me out with some pics of their st185 engine bays? mainly the right hand side (while facing the car) with the battery and fusebox layout, I've only found a couple of left hand drive pics... a tad different and of no use to me.

I must say the work was ok... but they just ignored everything that I told them before they started. Image

asked to put P/S pump from old engine to new (actually... older :D ), before the engine went in.... last thing they did. Infuriating! Should be good for a massive discount though.

That would be awesome dude :D Mainly of the vacuum setup, the AFM positioning and the stuff that bolts along the back (coils and stuff) all on the right side (facing the vehicle).
