the sr20det and the ca18det are the same engine man, i mean sure, ones 1.8 and ones 2.0, and one cost alot more to develop (the ca18det), this is why they mae the sr20det.
a mate of mine has a 180sx, s13 silvia, with a ca18det, boost increased to 11psi, cat back zost (idiot before him did this), this engines are capiable of 400ish hp, or roughly 10% less of that of the sr20det, but the ca18 can rev 500rpm higher than the 20...
its like comparing the blacktop and the silver i guess, one revs higher, cept the 18 produces LESS power

take your pic, get max power faster, or get more power later? hes just sticking with the ca18 coz its there, low kms (for an 89, 130,000kms), just gotta rebuild it and shell be mint man
