1983 Starlet auto to manual

Have a mate who's converting an '83 Starlet 4k from auto to manual. He has everthing he needs except for the gearbox crossmember. So.... can anyone tell me where he could get his hands on an '83 Starlet manual crossmember? Thanks in advance.

i can get a hold of one as a last resort, if this dude i know still has the car. but its a huge hassle. if he can't get one anywhere else i can try, but will cost him.

heaps of starlets around. was one on trademe for $30 a while ago. place wanted ads everywhere and look for people wreckin in loot etc and you shouldnt have too much trouble. someone else on here would probably have one

i done the same thing on a 1970 ke25 coupe and i didnt need to change my gearbox crossmember but it wasnt a starlet
