Cutting bumpstops is illegal isnt it? or you need a cert to do.
Either way, its not really the best way.
You can get the standard ones shortened to match lowering springs so you'll still have decent ride and the springs will be captive.
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

From the King Spring website, they only have standard height and lowered(30mm) springs only for KE70

Check the LTSA website for the WoF manual, tells you all the requirements.

Are you sure? I thought that getting them compressed proberly was ok? and that the heating refers to doing it dodgy? Have been looking at compressing my KP Starlet springs but I might just save for Kings/Shocks Like Q.

For example, after 3 years of a modifyed VR4 ownership with not one claim, insurance would have been around $1500 a year, hrmmm...$4500 in three years in my pocket rather than insurance companies...

So before you leap down anyones throat, stop assuming sh*t.

To put it simply, why is anyone without insurance a '$&#$%' if they can afford to pay for any damage/loss they might suffer or inflict on someone else. Everybody still wins????????????????????

I dont want to get in an argument today, but technically your idea is not 100% correct. Take the vr4 example. Ok, you dont crash in 3 years, thats $4500 great!. Yo dont crash in 6 years...nearly 10g.
Lets say you crash into a new bmw, your fault and its written off. you still dont have enough to cover it.
Ive been in both boats so know what your saying, but I rekon third party just to cover the others cars should be mandatory with ownership.

sorry to rant on your post.

If you don't want opinions don't post on a public forum.
YOU raised that you didn't have insurance. You had to expect a reponse.

Next time just do a search. EVERYTHING you asked has been covered before here.
