rolla 2 questions

Postby the fallen303 » Sat Sep 18, 2004 7:10 pm

my girlfriend has just got a 95 corolla 2, chassis says it's an E-EL55, engine is a 5e-fe, and the trans/axle code is c50f-06a. just after some info on this, what sort of diffs does it run, it looks to be a solid rear axle, not independant. what sort of things can be done to this in the way of tickling up the engine, and a possible engine transplant at a later date, and if a transplant does happen, what engine would bolt up the the gearbox? what sort of power can the drivetrain take? what can be done to make it handle better, as it feels floaty at the moment.

will most likely have more questions later.

thanks

GT starlet engine but I think you can keep the 5e block so it has a bit more capacity.

hmm 5e-fe, basic modes, podfilter, fre flowing exhaust, cams if u want, blah blah

good mod to see done would just a turbo kit from a 4e-fte slapped on there, u could keep factory longblock, and just run low boost on factory compression/internals, all u need would be manifolds, turbo, front mount, piping, and al little extra fuel in there.. AND ALL THE BOLT-ONS U CAN AFFORD!

..make toyotas 1st 1500 turbo..
