7afe extractors on 4afe

Postby jeremiahnz » Thu Sep 23, 2004 12:49 pm

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has put 7afe extractors on a 4afe? TWSTD told me he sold some to a person on here for this purpose.

What I really want to know is:

1) Did they bolt straight up? If not what was required to fit them?
2) Is it worthwhile? Where they any better or worse then stock?
3) Anybody got any for sale? Cheap :D ?

Cheers

7AFE & 4AFE use the same manifold gaskets, so yes it should be a straight forward swap
Did you ask Brian Radford this question? because he ask me this last week at work.

Yeah, I did ask Brian.

After you gave him the answer I went down to Toyotaz Galore to get some extractors. After a bit of hunting I found the ones I was after but they didn't have any secondaries so I didn't get them.

Next plan is to try to find a wreckers with some secondaries and the extractors or find out if the secondaries off the 20 valves will fit.
