Overheating problems? Not unless you've never changed the coolant.

No traction in the front? Only if you cant drive, that lack of traction is your poor driving ploughing the front into corners.

Fuel use, around town its not exactly economical, but open road I used to get 475-500kms to a 54 litre tank.

They don't overheat if properly maintained, and they do have little front traction, but if you are skilled you'll know how to weight shift and make the most out of this "feature".
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

It's like my grandma always used to say.

"If you can't get the front round, get the rear out!"

:D
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

the front handling is just something that ya have to get used to, but i found mine to be the best car that i have owned as far as handling.
they definately feel a little different to drive when you get in one for the first time.
and any car can overheat, i never had a problem though. might be a little different if stuck in traffic though???
sweet car get one, just dont push its limits till ya have had it for awhile as they like to go round in circles, which isnt always a bad thing

I was sitting in traffic yesterday and had the heater blowing on full and my temp gauge actually went DOWN! Doesn't appear to be a problem for me :)

the alarm ppl installed an alarm in one of mine once and the fans no longer worked, while stuck in traffic the gauge did go up a bit but nothing much, still no over heating.

i have never had a mr2 over heat, mind u this one time @ band camp...
yes i have seen 1 over heat, there was a problem with the car though

I dunno bout the lack of front traction. Driving Al's I found that the rear came round before the front let go with a 'slow in, fast out' style

*hang on, I'm sure that VR4 was following me, not oncoming*

Well my water pump sh#t it's self one nite and I managed to cook my engine but it was just a freak thing, happened right after I bought it. got engine fixed ($2325) and I haven't had any overheating prob's since. awesome to drive, how many other cars turn in to helecopters this well. On the gas side of things I was getting about 60 km's to $10 around town but now Im getting 30km's if Im lucky but my MR2 has got Issues......
