Postby 12aKE70 » Sat Oct 02, 2004 6:02 pm

Hi guys, just wanting a few opnions on which would be the best diff for a 12a Ke70.
Are there other toyota ones that will bolt up that are a bit stronger?Or will I have to do some modifications to them to make them fit.
Any help would be mint.

definatly not ke70 diffs. a guy i know only turboed his 4k and ended up blowing his diff not long after so id be pretty suprised if it handled a 12A.

if I go hilux etc i wouldnt be able to run 13inch wheels which i want to as I like the old skool look.
Wondered if maybe a corona or celica diff could be modifyed, how hard would it be to change to 4 link?
Or maybe a diff from another manufacter would fit, just wondering what different ones people have used?
I pulled the old diff out today, jeez it was in a bad way

Mine is an F series from the *A6* series Celica/Carina/Supra, not worthwhile in most circumstances as it is a trailing arm setup. If you were going to do it you should look at a Nissan S13/14/15 setup. Width is probably a bit closer than the G series from the Mk3/4 Supra, and good aftermarket support. You really don't want to narrow an IRS if you can avoid it.
Not really worth it at all, the money could be better spent elsewhere.
