afaik there are no LSD's that'll fit the C52, just the E5x series boxes ;-(

Axles will probably need to be changed, iirc the E51 was what was came stock on a Silvertop, how did you end up with a C52?

the gearbox is sweet but i shreaded the clutch to pieces and while the car is in pieces i thought might as well spend a little more dosh on an lsd, those race tracks are car brakers and the was a few there on sat

there is a plate type lsd for the c52
also a helical
the e series came out in ze's and sw20's i believe

silvertops have a c series box
both the c52..c56 are the same internal bar gear ratios

bout 1300 for a lsd
and yes there is one in the country right now
its 1.5 way
so prolly more suited to a mr2 but would still be fine in a fwd

if you wanted a cheaper alternative
galanza boxes are c series and some have lsd's
the lsd ones have a extra casing on the back housing the viscous

i guess perhaps a post in the trade secion looking for one might get you more luck :D

So would the lsd out of a glanza box fit in a c52 box? or is it different cos of the fact thatthe axles bolt onto the c52 gbox instead of slide in?

the extra housing on the side has to bolt on somewhere so i think you'd need the whole g/b. and i personally think thats setups crap.
just go and buy the trd one. i would.
there are factory lsd in the c series but chances of finding one are slim

yeah i have trouble with those... wreckers claim to have a c5# lsd but it turns out usually not.
the glanza ones are viscous and yes some are c series.

what are you using it for? if its a road car a viscous one would be ok, but for racing or serious power a helical one is prob best

the hard part is peole get confused with the hexagon shaft idea of the e series

the only way to well is to put the box in gear and turn one side of the diff
if both turn the same way its a viscous or plate type if one spins without the otherone moving its a helical or torsen type diff

if they turn opposite its a open

this has worked for me sofar but please dont take it as gospel

the c56 out of the galnza will bolt up and is prolly the easiest option
trust me its a hard path to find the perfect box for the 4age c series boxes

beat of luck
