Just had a thought.... - After this poll is done and we've got a few ideas, we should cruise over and check them all out and see what they're actually like.... Never know, maybe Petone isn't the shit... - I mean... it's the shit but possibly not for meets is what I was.... oh you know..

Yes definitely have to check out the potential spot before (if) we blindly move.

I have removed any posts I deem rubbish from this thread.

Meh, I don't see the point in moving either - unless our current location gets bulldozed!

Summer's coming and the weather is improving!

It's a good base place - we don't necessarily have to spend the whole evening there! :)

for those that went to the meet last nite they would have noticed that they have dug up the ground more, soon there wont be a car park or there will be alot of holes in the ground and i sure as hell dont wanna drive down there and have something happen to a car like it did to poor paulas.

just my thought tho
if you want to stay where we are thats fine but keep in mind the roadworks and how bad it will be getting soon

Speedsterchick is right. There probably won't be much of a car park left once the roadworks get fully underway.

well theres always gonna have to be access to the marina and the Overseas terminal, with daylight savings here if we drive to the conditions or the road surface it should be fine, if you drive it like your in a carpark then you should notice these things with all the extra daylight, And besides - regardless of wherever we go you never know whats around the corner, What happened to Paulas car is a shame and i think someone should be held accountable but these thing happen to the best of us

WEll seeing as my front bumpers almost on the ground and i still have no problems with the roadworks i dont see that as a problem, like brendon said there needs to be access and if you drive to the conditions it's fine! Plus they'll be fixed once all the pipings down

yes it will be fixed but when? this is the council we are talking about here and they take months longer than they are suppose to in fixing things

to be honest i really dont care anymore. if its gona be too much of a hassle for people to change where we meet then dont change it, but i think a change every now and again is all good.

No need to drag me into the debate
What happened was unfortunate  but it was at the side of the road coming out of one of the driveways, not like it was in the middle of the road.

Everyone is going to have different opinions of whether we stay at the same place or move to a different place, which is why this poll is in place. It's so everyone can decide as a group if toyspeed move their meeting spot, not just leaving it up to one person, then having everyone bitch and whine at that one person.

Either way people are going to be unhappy, or not agree with the outcome, it's a fact of life.

Nicely put.

Please guys leave this as a poll. The other thread is there if you want to justify your decision.
