You will NOT get a power gain of any sort by reducing the rotating mass of you cam gears by 10grams, if you reduce the flywheel weight do you get a power gain??(You get a gain in engine acceleration, but you are not increasing air/fuel burn or majorly changing frictional losses). Even if you did get a gain it wouldn't even be noticeable on a decent dyno like a Dynapack or even a Superflow engine dyno as 10Grams is sweet $$% all.
Either gear is strong enough for the job & use what you have, bare in mind that most adjustable cam gears weigh similar if not more than a factory gear, there gains come not through reduced weight but through having the ability to maximise the cam timing.
