yeah sorry, wasn't too clear
The second peice I was referring to is the bit that goes from the bottom of the airbox through, under the fuse box that has a hole in the bottom of it down to the resonator. - I'll draw you a picture when I get home (because I have camera, photoshop and the ability to host from there)

It would have to get past several turns, an air filter, an airflow meter and the 4 trumpets on your throttle bodies - this pretty much only happens when your engine is running and your guard mounted pod filter goes into a puddle. - as the bottom of the bumper will stop puddles I wouldn't be too concerned.
as for the model number of the K&N Filter you require...
