help me identify these 3a parts...

i'm removing the 3a to put in a 4agze in the ae85 (finally).

First: the pipe that goes from brake booster to the exuast manifold? what does it do?

Second: the black canister inbetween the radiator and window washer container: what is it and is it only for the 3a? it has an overflow that sticks out under the car?

You sure the brake boost isn't to the inlet manifold? If so then its because the booster needs vacuum to boost the pedal pressure you apply basically
