i see stats like how many fatal road deaths there are, how many people died from smoking related illnesses, how many people died from alcohol, including all the drunk driving (drunk driving is illegal yes, but you cant do it unless you've got alcohol). yes but i was comparing it to drug use. comparing bleach to drug use isnt a fair comparason, why not? well i dont actually know anyone who takes bleach for recreational purposes. NOS in balloons are been sold in bars along side alcohol now.
my point is theres something there that kids do (to get a high)that will $&#$% your brain up a lot quicker than weed and alcohol.

yo chickenman, just out of curiosity do you get drug tested as a teacher? few years back when i was at college we had a teacher that always looked stoned, came up with really randoms sayings and phrases such as "silly-sausage ragamuffin", and a couple of times i saw a pipe in the ashtray of his mk1 cortina... hmmmmmm mark 1... with those hippy peace lights...

oh and a couple of times we seen him stumbling home 2am in the morning with a bottle of whiskey almost paraletic..

anyway if he wasnt a teacher id definately think hes a stoner but i thought they must have some sort of drug testing?

No... at the schools I've worked at there has been no compulsory drug testing.

Other schools may be different though (remember I'm up North).

I teach music... if they were gonna test anyone it would be the bogan music teacher that dresses in black all the time.
The teachers I've known that smoked were between 25-35 and it didn't affect their day to day job.
