I'll back up everyones opinion in that you don't want to port a tvis engine. All you need to do is match and polish everything.

If your going to go for huge duration cams with a valve grind you may want to look at getting new valves so your factory ones don't over heat. I think you get lithium valve steams or something and they help with cooling.
