Generally if its worse cornering then the diff soider gears are gone! just jack it up and check the wheels are tight! universal is not shagged and then run the car up on the jack and listen for the noise stop one wheel from spinning and listen as well.

Same thing as my diff did not last to long after it started making those noising ( had to tow mine home ), I had one spider gear in 4 main pieces and the other with all the teeth chewed off.

Best thing would be to pull it out and replace it
