It wont blow up, but your 02 sensor wont like it much. Well, you can get away with it for a while, but continual use coats it in lead, and then it goes FUBAR

you do understand what av gas is aye?

aviation fuel... plane fuel >.> its got yummie lead in it.

im unsure of the octane rating of it though, however you can get 118 octane NON leaded fuel, costs you an arm and a leg, but i know you can get it ^_^.

Its about 101 octane, and costs about $1.36ish a litre. C16 costs considerably more.

Yeah, but the police have to have some evidence before they can fine you. I was wondering how they collect that evidence.

by taking a fuel sample all sorts of tests can be carried out.

specific gravity, boiling point, lead content, MON/RON...............................................

Isn't that gonna cost them more to get the sample sent to a specialist than the fine?

no, because if you decide to argue the point that you are not using avgas/ELF/TRICK etc and you are, and they prove it, YOU PAY!!!!!

Or, using the extra 30rwkw from the Avgas, you leave the area in a hurry and don't pay the $500. Sorry, this has turned into a stupid thread now, but I'm under the impression that they don't bother too much now as not enough people do it. I could be wrong, but who cares. What about a 50/50 mix?

My bad, was only skim reading. Is it true that you can get a different type of 02 sensor that is compatable with race gas? Somebody may have been talking shit, but it could be useful as part of my next build

Well, you seem pretty convinced of the extra 30rwhp from running avgas, judging by your previous post
