4age question

Postby crispy'86 » Sun Jan 09, 2005 11:07 pm

I'm currently building a 4age with the 20v block, crank with 16v red/black top rods and pistons. I put the oil squirters in for the 20v block and they hit the pistons. The pistons aren't from non-tvis engine. Would i be safe to leave the squirters out of the oil galleries in the block or would i risk losing oil pressure, having oil return to the sump through the drillings in the block? Or would i have to block the drillings off so oil gets to the top end alright?? All help appreciated

Yep i've cut and brazed the holes for the oil squirters that blot to the oil galleries. I figure it's easier to do this than take pistons out again, considering i've got to get it in and running this weekend. I'll get it done tho, this weekend it'll be dropped n and hooked up
