Why Does Work Suck?

Postby Roush » Mon Jan 13, 2003 1:36 pm

It's my first day back at work from the holidays and it's shitty and boring. I'm paper pushing. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

All of the above apply to me (except the recovering alcoholic one) but i thought because we're on the internet permanantly at work and i'm permanantly on toyspeed i should choose that one. (Thats of course when i'm not downloading porn  )

So why does work suck so much? 8O

I've been back a week and my boss has already banned toyspeed from the allowed websites.
Luckily being the computer geek guy, I can fix that problem, so I can surf toyspeed happily.
He doesnt really care, he just wants me to get a chrysler :D

Those were the days!

Ever had to troubleshoot a bad connection with a one armed, foreign, blind guy? Or walk a headless chicken through a mine field?

The joys of an ISP's helpdesk!

Give me a call - (04)939-8859 or (021)499-539. If you've got any particular requirements (ie 5400RPM or 7200RPM, Brand, Cache, etc.) let me know.

Just as an idea, I think our current price on a 30GB 5400RPM drive is $180, and 40GB 5400RPM is $200.

Wildcard: I know I probably shouldnt be advertising - call it payment for webhosting if you like :-)

Not meaning to interrupt your sale Zylex, but if your prices are a little too much than he's looking for, I've got a 20 or 30gb Western digital drive, still in its antistat bag, purchased about a month ago.
Slap me an offer on it if you want. :D

Yes.... luckily my job isn't that bad but I guess you could still call it tech support

It's software support and yes it's a windows based program... - anyone who knows anything about computers will know that windows+software=job security for me!!

The only stink thing about my job is that when it's quiet....it's quiet...and I'm not supposed to be on TS... luckily alt+tab is constantly at hand...
