Faxy is dead forever!!

Yup... that last proplem i had with it got sorted. Just ended up being a random pipe.

But I took it to Dunedin last weekend, we made a stop and then it wouldnt go again!! It was like i had a flat battery.

So we left it ten minutes and tried again. It didnt really wanna turn over but I gave it some gas and it cranked up. But then it wouldnt idle!

So I started it up again, giving it some gas and kept my foot on, slammed it into drive and tried to go....
But it wouldnt go anywhere. It just made a really loud knocking noise.

I think its really really broken this time....

Did you check the oil? Was the knocking noise like a deep clonking noise?

Sounds like you had no oil left.

You'll have to rebuild the motor or easily fit a second hand one. You can easily do it yourself.

May as well convert it to manual at the same time while the engine is out.

yeah does sound like its run a bearing.....
and from the sounds of it the crank will be stuffed...
so cheapest option is to fit another engine.
$5-600 for another..
manual conversion will be $650-750 for parts alone, based on the bits i jsut got for a ae101
