Removed heater on 4A-GE Sensor block question

Postby Rick » Thu Jan 27, 2005 10:13 pm

I have decided not to have a heater in my AE-85 when I put the 4A-GE in. At the back of the 4A-GE head there is a sensor block (see pic) and a hose joined from here to the heater, if I was to block this hose off will this cause any problems?

cheers

Rick

The easy way to do it, is to just join the two pipes that go to the heater core together, that way you can't really stuff any thing up.

But why don't you want a heater? It would be just as easy to leave it in there :?

As said above, join the two together.
Can cause hot spot at rear of engine because water cant circulate if not joined.

Heaters are good though....

I would have normaly joined it up but I am putting a FWD 4A-GE into my AE-85 plus heater and all the associated parts weigh to much also the water does not circulate when the heater switch is closed??
