help!!!! taking out gt starlet motor for 1st time

hi there sorrry to bother all of you. but im taking out my 1990 gt starlet motor just to get some stuff done to it. wat are the steps to take to ensure it all goes smoothly. thanks so much for your time. thanks stephan

Disconnect everything that goes from motor or parts there of, pull the front wheels off and pull the axles out of the hubs - take the box out with it it's much easier. Some how support the weight of the motor and unbolt the engine mounts - back one first otherwise you'l have to get in under there with that being the only mount left to do - not a good idea.
Lower gently to the ground then lift the front of the car up enough to slide it out from under and there it will be sitting on the floor in front of you!
