what sort of material and how much? i want one !

:D :D
hey dude, i got those storm drainage pipes from benchmark on the cnr adelaide rd and john street in wellington but i pressume most hardware store should stock them. they come in 3 and 5 metres long. grab the 5m cos the 3 is just too short as each sideskirts is approx 1.6 metres long. 5m goes for about38 bucks. don't forget to get some end caps for them so it looks nicer.you need to cut lengthways as well as it sticks out too much if uncut. i will take some more pics on sunday as it's my day off and i will email them to ya. mate who is a builder helped me with it. at the end sand, prime and paint it. will set my pxt phone to 1.3mp so i can get some decent photos.

hey send some pics these ways

pierreb@maxnet.co.nz

i have some FXGT side skirts for my corolla sedan. sadly, i did not take into account that the fxgt is a 2 door hatch so the back end of the skirt covers the rear door just a little. Im gna need to trima piece out and attach to the rear door probably with selleys all clear.

anyone have any idea how hard it would be to fiber glass up where the cut will be? so that when i open the door there isnt a gaping hole looking down inside the skirt?

i thort of like filling that part of the skirt with something and then sanding to shape and then fiber over top?

would the fiber stick to the plastic of the skirt?

cheers

chooooice.

is there such a product as polystyrene in a bottle?

like, canned polystyrene where you just spray (like i duno, a compressed can of cream) that hardens after a certain amount of time?

something like that would be very usefull.. coz then i just need to sand and then fiber and then chip out the poly if need be.

Yes, you can get canned foam, but it's VERY difficul and messy to work with. You'd be better off with a can of bog.
