Camry 2.2 Automatics ..OK ?

Wondering how reliable the auto behind the 2.2 in a '95 camry wagons are ?

Anyone work on one or have a good run with one ?

the one im looking at has done 150,000 km

goes lovely ...

just wondering how much life it may have in it ..

any input fully appreciated ..

well..my mums got one of these..and i give it death quite alot and it seems to hold up quite well, a bit less KMs than that one though, i think around 130km mark though, just like any gearbox - will only last as long as you look after it.

From what I've read in the US forums, they're very good. A lot of people over there install and aftermarket trans fluid cooler for even better reliability, but their weather gets a lot hotter than ours.
