custom air intake???

hey there.

wonder if you guys know where i can get a custom made air intake tube made for my ae101.

Try CPA in Petone, Wellington, they seem to have a few odds and ends like that

I take it youve got a silvertop 20V? If so then you have an AFM which makes it hard to get a full induction pipe as the AFM is in the way. Best bet is to get a K&N panel filter that drops into your factory airbox and remove the resonator box in the front left bumper then cut that hole going through to the resonator slightly bigger to 3' (as its about 2.5' factory) then get some flexi ducting up to it.

Thats prob the cheapest way, otherwise youll prob have to relocate the battery to the boot and make a aluminium cold air box (enclosure) for a pod and do the ducting thing upto it. Apart from looks, there wont be much difference to performance
