Haha nice one. Theres always someone that has done something real cheap, I can never seem to find it tho

So do you reckon 2.5' is a large enough bore for ducting? Id prefer to use 2.5' cos it means I wont need to be making larger holes for it to run as I would for 3', but 3' is more appealing due to larger bore/more air in etc etc. What do ya reckon?

How big is your throttle body? (or AFM if you have one) that is going to be your biggest restriction so theres no point going bigger than them.

Oh and ' = feet , so yeah 2.5 foot bore should be plenty.

Im sure 2.5" would be enough. Im only using 3" because thats the size of the filter i bought.(and my air box is just big enough.)
I found some trumpets on the net over in england but would cost me about 200 to get them.... 8O So plastic or exhaust pipe will have to be the choice!

Im of to get some 2.5 or 3" ducting from south auckland tomorow. If any one in north auckland wants any - PM me and ill get it for you, (if its not to much)

my exhsaust man made a set for 60 out of mild steel. it's only a labour cost , as the tube is only a 300mm off-cut.

The intake pipe to throttle body is 2.5" but im putting the factory airbox back in it and getting a K&N panel for it. The inlet to the airbox just allows a 3" pipe to go over it so im thinking that might be the go.

Haha smart ass :P Yeah 2.5 feet prob would be enough bore to get air and the occasional seagull
