Tyre puncture worry

Postby 2fas4u » Sun Feb 20, 2005 8:36 pm

this is what i saw when i was washing my carImage

after i took the screw out, this is the culprit
Image

now my tyres are new so you reckon with the amount of penetration the screw has done on the tread of my tyres that will cause permaent damage or could i just fix that job up with a puncture repair kit? not exactly keen on spending another 160 on a new tyre. :? cheers.

Easily repairable, about $10 - $20 worth, some shops do it for free. No problem.

Wouldn't have a clue. But if you've just bought tyres, if they're good people they should happily do a repair for you. Only takes 10mins.

Yea, X is right, not a worry at all to fix.

Had the same thing to one of my tyres once, and they did it for free.

Another word of advice, next time you post pictures, make them a little bit smaller, makes it easier on everyone... :D

Off-topic, but out of interest.

What kind of phone/network does a 1.3MP camera-phone?

As a specialist, how do you rate the Sharp GX30?

as an ex owner of the GX30i which is the GX30 with full voice and data bluetooth capability, i am very impressed with every aspect of the phone. feels solid not like the GX10, GX10i, GX20 (apologise to any of those owners) which felt way to plasticey. apart from the GX30i's BT defference everything else is the same. the screen quality and resolution of 260k interanal and 65k external as well as the sound quality are my highlights of my time of ownership. the MP3 function is great, though they could chuck in a 64MB card rather than a 8MB considering how cheap the SD cards are nowdays. the size is just right to hold and text. the keypads are well layed out and spaced. very easy to use. sexy champagne colour. nice 7 colour lights that dances with the vibration and to the tune fo your ringtone. to sum it up, IT IS A $&#$% NICE PHONE!!! :D
