Not so variable fan speed in Camry

Postby Leroy » Sun Feb 20, 2005 8:14 pm

Not all fan speeds are working in ventilation system of Camry V6 GLX 1992. I understand it may be the blower motor resistor has burn't out. I have located the motor but unsure to what the resister should look like. Can anyone help?

It will be probably between the fan motor and the a/c core.
Screwed into the duct so it gets air flow past it. With possibly 3 to 5 quite heavy wires going to it.

Put in a new blower motor resister but still runs on one speed only, Mystifying!! Could it be the fan speed switch in the dashboard?

Which speed? fastest, or slowest?
