I'm using a red top tvis loom from an auto trueno, running n/a 4age in my originally 4agze trueno. i've bypassed the starter switch so it starts, engine runs but alternator light stays on. I haven't got the fusible link in the block for the alternator (is this because being auto it's bypassed through the solenoid on the trans?) Black/yellow wire is in 22 pin plug in car but on gtz loom has this wire going through the ignition switch. I've tried putting this wire from the 22 pin plug to the black/yellow wire in the loom for ign. switch but light still stays on. Can i add a wire from the alternator 3 pin plug (WHITE WIRE) and put fusible link in . Or i sthere an other way so this light doesn't come on when engine running.? Alternator has been pulled apart and checked out so it's in good order. Some of the igntion feeds aren't connected up will this make any difference? I've run the wires to the circuit opening relay for the same ecu. that leaves 3 wires not plugged in, will i need to plug these up to the ignition switch??
If i had a camera it would be much easier to see what's going on.
