I absolutely loved Chch when I was down there for the first time in Novemeber '04 but I'm not a big fan of cold places and as far as Auckland goes there's always something to do and probably better job prospects etc so that's why I voted Auckland but I'm not a big fan of the house prices here that's for sure!
