Oil Cooler kit on an MR2 SW20

lookin to put a Trust oil cooler kit on the two, any idea how easy or hard it is? cheers :)

The Trust kit won't fit on your car Nan, it's for the gen III onward. You can make one up, but IMO it wouldn't be worth it unless you are planning serious HP mods.

im asking due to me using one on my 4ag-te and thought i i can keep the oil cool i would get a good gain in hp. + talking o a a-grade mech mate that i now he said it would br=e a dam good idea

I meant it wouldn't be worth it on a gen 1/2 SW20 with basic mods as it's neither cheap nor easy to do, and the stock oil cooler is OK. With he exception that the oil temp does climb after extended thrashing, so if you regularly did this it might be worthwhile.

An NA engine that has had a turbo bolted onto it would be a different story. You would be unlikely to get a noticable gain in HP but you will improve the efficency of the oil (depending on how hot it's getting) and you may reduce the detonation threshold.
