4AGE Wiring help!

Postby Jebus » Sat Mar 05, 2005 9:59 am

Im installing a 16V 4AGE into my Corolla KE30 in NZ. I brought an AE92 red top TVIS from a wrecker, he said to me it was an import. I have found numerous wiring digrams and ECU pin out diagrams, none of which match up to my ECU. I got the two main plugs for the ECU, the 10 and 18 pin ones, but didnt get the last 14 pin plug.

I found the third plug from an NZ Blue Top 4AGE and the 13th pin has no connection, all the wiring diagrams I have found also say that the AE92 Red top TVIS does not use the 13th pin, but my ECU has all 14 pins in the ECU. Does one just not get used? or do I have an oddball ECU? BTW the engine has a MAP sensor.

Also if anyone can shed some light on which ECU pins and wires are needed to get it running in my car it would be much appreciated as also some correct wiring diagrams would be too.

Cheers in advance.

Pins 1,2 & 8 are all that are needed. 1 & 8 being two EFI Main relay, 2 being Batt (12v). The rest are just for air con, ECT-S (suspension). Oh and the check engine light is number 9 if you want that too.

If only I had $1 for every time I've posted this!

Is it possible to connect a smallport ecu to a bluetop loom? The plugs are all different but I'd like to be able to run the motor only off the smallport ecu and all the other stuff off the bluetop. is this possible?
