The engine doesn't have to come out if this is the case, as this is the same way my engine is mounted.
Take both wheels off, hubs off, but brakes still attached, pop thenaxles out. Alternator and battery out. Clutch cover etc off.
New clutch in, everything back in. BOut 8 hours work
