Postby rwd_mayhem » Mon Mar 14, 2005 9:15 pm

in a 1990 celica sr, when im in neutral and tap the brakes repeatidly fast the revs go up - do u know why? does your car do it? go try it now!

In some cases, the booster doesnt create enough vacuum to be noticable, or the ECU is quickly able to compensate accurately for it. You'll find on some cars the revs go up, on the revs go down, and on some they dont move, depending on how well the ECU reacts, if at all. It also depends on how much vacuum you're creating - perhaps some boosters dont create as much vacuum as others??
