Spigot bearing/clutch 4age?

if i get a fwd 4age engine, i read you need a spigot bearing for conversion to rearwheel drive?, i have a A series k50 box to fit
if so where can i get one? price?

also what clutch/flywheel setup shoud i use for the k50 box?

You need a spigot bearing, the end of the input shaft sits in it so it doesnt wobble around, if you dont run one it will flog out the oil seal in no time, theyre about $8 from anywhere, just slip in the back of the engine.

A K50 has only a 19 spline input shaft, where as a 4AGE has a 21 spline shaft so you cant use a 4AGE clutch plate, you will need to get a 3A clutch plate and use that with the standard 4AGE pressure plate. If thats too weak then you need to get the 19 spline clutch centre put into a 4AGE clutch plate, but dunno how much that costs.

i came and had a look at ya seats and carpet the other day but have to give it a miss as my winscreen got smashed on the way to coromandel that night f%&* rocks!, have you got the 4age running yet?
looking at doing the same, getting a low kms t-vis redtop for my wagon
but have to save the cash first

so any one have a 3a clutch plate? how much?

That sucks dude! My car isnt wired yet its being done by my girlfriends brother, hes doing a miiinntt job so it should be done soon.

I got my 3A clutch plate from pick-a-part for $12 :D

you will probably also need a 3a backing plate as well

Yeh that also as it doesnt quite cover the whole bellhousing, i made a little panel which is the right shape that i can just bolt onto the gearbox with the 3 remaining holes, that will work if ya cant find a 3a backing plate.
