In my S/C 1987 AW11, my mechanic has said the my gearbox mounts are cracked (I think he means the rubbber) is this an issue.

Can they be repaired or do I have to replace them, He seemed to think that they are around the $200 mark each!!!

Can you get second hand ones, or are they all pretty much knackered in a car this old?

mine were rooted too so i bought some 3M window weld and just filled them up

u see people on www.mr2oc.com filling them with urethane to make them stiffer
