Ok, so we all know, when you have pushed the clutch pedel in, the clutch is *disengaged*, eg a big empty space between the gearbox and the engine, so no power is transfered... right?
so why, if say your in first gear, does it still whine, even if you have the clutch disengaged?
theres no power going through... and its not the gearbox rolling on since i just pushed the clutch in, for example. i could push in the cluch, hold the brake, then get a mate of mine to push me again down a hill. the gearbox will start whining again.
obviously somethings getting through, and i want to know why .
