Turbo temperature

Postby Andy from the block » Fri Mar 25, 2005 1:57 pm

What temperatures would a normal turbo reach on the cold and hot side?
Iam going to remove my turbo and was going to paint it.

Ive heard the cold side rarely sees over 100c degrees?
If so could I use just normal spray can enamel?

I have high temperature black VHT paint thats good for 1350c degrees,
will this be able to stand up to the heat of the hot side?
(its ment for painting manifolds etc)
cheers.
