Starlet Turbo Misfiring

Postby dotdog » Mon Mar 28, 2005 12:04 pm

Hey All, I seem to have a missfire in my turbo s that i cant seem to fix, so far ive replaced the sparkplugs, coil/ignitor, Map Sensor, Ive checked all the leads, cleaned out dizzy and cleaned up all the dizzy contacts, and ive even changed the ecu but it still seems to keep on doing it. It seems to miss only when above 4K and with full throtle and a tiny bit on idle, anyone got any ideas, its got me stuffed aye, and the motor is a 2E-TELU running a front mount and standard turbo

What are the injectors loke? I had similar prob on my 4A, and as a last resort I threw in a new set and it was all sweet. Although if you dont have a spare set lying round its probably not worth trying just yet.
